About TrueInterview

TrueInterview is an end-to-end job-search product for software, data and hardware candidates: a company-tagged interview-question bank with server-side judging and AI review, a board of interview experiences candidates shared, written guides, and an agent that tailors a CV and cover letter per role, fills in the employer's form for the candidate to submit, and tracks every application through to an offer.

What the product does

TrueInterview covers both halves of a technical job search, which are usually sold as two separate products. The first half is preparation: a question bank filed by the company that asked each question and, where the report gave one, the month it was reported. Questions are worked in the interface the round calls for, and how an answer is checked follows the format: coding and SQL are judged server-side against hidden test cases rather than marked by eye, and system design is drawn on a whiteboard. An AI reviewer scores a finished solution against a rubric instead of only telling you whether it ran.

The second half is getting the job. The same account carries a document library of CVs and cover letters, per-role tailoring that reads the actual job posting rather than the job title, and an application tracker that follows every role from saved through to an offer. A browser extension fills the tailored application into the employer's form; the candidate reviews it and submits it themselves.

Where the questions come from

Candidates who have just sat an interview report what they were asked, either on the public interview-experiences board or directly to us; the rest comes from public reports we verify and file by company. A question carries the month it was reported wherever the report gave one, so a stale entry is visible as one rather than presented as current; a question filed without a month says nothing about when it was asked rather than implying it is recent. Interview experiences are written by the candidates themselves and published under our content guidelines, which prohibit anything covered by an NDA.

How your data is handled

A CV is the most personal document most people own, so two things are worth saying plainly. Your material is sent to third-party language-model providers to do the work you asked for — the providers are named in the privacy policy, and under the API terms we use, your inputs are not used to train their models. And non-essential analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them on the banner shown on your first visit; the choice can be changed at any time from the site footer.
